URun (“the app”) is a running dashboard app for Apple Watch and iPhone, developed by Kevin Zou (邹珂) and published by Shenzhen Sinano Intelligence Technology Co., Ltd. (深圳硅纳智慧科技有限公司). We care about your privacy. This policy explains how the app handles data.
The app has no accounts and the developer runs no servers. We do not collect or store any of your personal information. Your workouts, heart rate, location tracks and settings are stored only on your own devices (Apple Watch and iPhone) and in your Apple Health database. The developer cannot access them.
To show weather, air quality and your city on the home screen, the app goes online when needed (see Section 3). These requests are used only to display the results right away. The developer never receives or stores them.
With your permission, the app will:
Health data is used only for these features. It is never used for advertising or analytics and is never shared with third parties. You can revoke access at any time in the Health app.
During a workout, the app uses GPS to record your route and calculate pace. The route is written only to that workout in Apple Health and is never uploaded.
The app also uses your location to show the following on the home screen. When it does, your location is sent to the respective provider:
You can turn off location access in Settings. The app will then be unable to record routes, and the home screen will not show the information above.
The app uses motion sensors to calculate cadence. This is processed only on your device.
Settings you make on iPhone, such as target pace, heart-rate zones and dashboard layout, are synced to your watch through Apple's device-to-device communication, without passing through any server.
Home screen backgrounds change with the time of day (early morning, day, evening, night). They are landscape photos by Flickr photographers released under open licenses (CC BY, CC0, public domain), bundled with the app and shown without going online. Photographer and license details are listed on the app's Background Image Credits page.
You can choose to export a workout as a GPX file and share it yourself. Export and sharing are entirely under your control.
The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not collect any personal information.
If this policy changes, we will update this page and its effective date.
